Carole was Born In Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.
An English graduate who went into the teaching profession in a Grammar School environment and comprehensive schools. During this period Carole’s role involved the production of school plays and operettas.
Carole also studied psychology which enabled her to move into other areas of education.
Initially her work took her into the Child Guidance Service as a play therapist working with deprived children in London. She then moved into the School Psychological Service helping primary school children who were under-achieving.
During her career she has worked in Adult Education with foreign students and piloted a literacy scheme and drama group for the deaf and hard of hearing.
A tenacious lady who fought the authorities to be allowed to teach her 12 year old son at home.
All of the above has moulded Carole’s quirky perception of life.
